Wouldn’t have picked Montas as a player they should’ve signed. That doesn’t mean it won’t work out, and, Stearns is owed benefit of doubt with pitching, he knows how to find value and get the most out of it.
As a 4th starter, this is perfectly fine, especially since they have almost nobody rn.
