I really don’t think people understand the level of violence we’re going to have to use to get out of this. The fact that anyone still believes peaceful protests work is laughable.

Proud of myself for getting through all the books I did this year. Taking chances and opportunities I would’ve passed up before. As wild as 2024 was, it was a good year for me. I like this path I’m on

I’m imagining the next 4 years is going to involve a lot of singing “I Never Thought the Leopards Would Eat My Face” while watching the various groups who should’ve known better realize they’re never getting a seat at the table. Tokens get spent.

Years ago I started making shrimp and grits for holiday breakfast so I wouldn’t have to starve all day until the food was ready and now my family just expects it every holiday 😭. I’m tired but I also refuse to starve so here we are 😂

One thing I love about going to my family’s house for thanksgiving is that it feels like time stops. There’s barely any cell signal, none of the older family members have wifi. We hang out, cut up, play card games just like we did growing up
