AI is likely going to kill entrepreneurship and stifle the free market. If you have a good idea, its potential value will be stolen from you and automated by a tech giant with no recourse for their theft. Isn't it obvious that this current course will destroy fair competition?

Back in 2019, I had the privilege of working on the 1st season of startrek lowerdecks. It was a career highlight for me at the time. This week, I made these sketch cards using marker, gauche and watercolor respectively. More to come.

Can i argue that there are many potential uses for gen ai. The hot topic is generative mimicry, but ai could be much more useful if we actually limit it. As a tool, it can help with the preliminary stages of dev & trained in a closed system, an artist could use it to test their own work ethically.

AI should pay a royalty to artists who are prompted in the generations. And allow the artist to opt out of allowing their data set included in the prompt. Tech could do this but it defeats the purpose of stealing from and replacing living and working artists
