I recognize so many of these from moms years of chemotherapy. It’s hard to think about cancer patients getting sicker because of a byproduct or weakened version. When these poisons are your last ditch effort at quality of life, you put a lot of faith in the companies, the people that make them.
NEW: In June, ProPublica reported that the FDA has given more than 20 foreign factories a special pass to send drugs to the U.S. even though they were made at plants the agency had banned.

Today, we’re publishing a list of those exempted drugs.
