We’re not just “mad” at Chuck Schumer—we’re terrified. Terrified that he’s about to hand over our Social Security, healthcare, disaster funding, and cancer research money to Republicans without putting up a real fight. Just like @schumer.senate.gov did with the GOP CR—and got nothing in return.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

I can believe that trump and musk don't care in the least about the 100s of federal workers losing their jobs, livelihoods, security and insurance at a moments notice - but for God's sake, are all Republicans so unfeeling?! I am horrified that Republicans care more about not angering trump!

I know that Zelensky is brilliant, but I am really nervous about Ukraine signing this rare minerals deal with the US. As far as I can see, it doesn't give guarantees of further financial support and security. Making any deals with trump is a recipe for disaster - any deals!
