I do not understand what compels someone to sign their kid up for a program AND THEN respond to the welcome email with how does this program work, what is the schedule, how do I register, where is the location, how do I pay?

I am not interested in hearing my Alma mater announce they are looking for ways to “engage in a conversation about the future of higher education” with people who do not want there to be a future to secular, independent higher education.

After considering #TLOAS for parts of the weekend, I'm reminded of @shadowtodd.bsky.social's #trainwreckords video on "Be Here Now". To paraphrase, "No, it's not the worst thing ever, but [Taylor] can only do big things in this era, so if she fails, it must be an epic failure."

One of my great karaoke frustrations is that, after a fair bit of practice, I got to the point where I could just about nail the DaBaby verse on "Levitating"... just when it became socially unacceptable to perform the remix version.
I was at school playing a game on my phone while eating lunch and in one round, I got 226951 coins. Curious whether that could be broken down, I googled "factor 226951". Google sucks now, so at the top of the results was an "AI overview" and oh boy did it lead me on a journey 🧵 [1/4] #AIsucks
