It's neat how when you anthopomorphise or personify abstract concepts into a character as an artist, what you're really doing is taking part in an ancient tradition of making a lil guy and turning them into a god inside your mind. sometimes they get to be a deity for a couple others, too!

In 2020, when Keir Starmer had just won the leadership of the Labor party, a friend and I discussed the fact that the man was morally for sale, and that any government he heads would be a do-nothing administration without a spine. Hate to have been consistently vindicated in that.

And one last personal piece for the year.
I don't really talk about it much publicly, but having a head full of other voices has been a process to grasp. Finally put a name to a long misattributed one recently, and I wanted to draw them all in one piece for therapy reasons.

Y'all, a coworker discovered my bluesky, was unsurprised by what it contained, and then in DMs explained they weren't surprised because they had already clocked me. I asked what the give away was, and I got a full on LIST. I have been read like a god damn book, LMAO
