I think Instagram has caught on that I don't use the app anymore because anytime I need to briefly open a link to a specific post or reel it doesn't load.
BUT the homepage loads instantly with all the stories of the people I left following there ready for me to click. Interesting, ain't it?

firstly, this headline is severely innacurate. Wikipedia is charging AI companies to train off its website. SECONDLY. i believe apnews as well as many others are doing this on purpose because rich folks/politicians dont like free and accessible information, and they are weaponizing your hatred.

A common thing I'm seeming amongst veterans of media industries is that they try to pin lapses in literacy as a fault of the media.
Like, one of my professors tried playing Inscryption and got stuck for 15 minutes because they didn't realize the "s" appearing onscreen meant pressing the s key...

No matter what the medium is, stray from the fundamentals AFTER you learn them. When I was learning Blender early on I pursued the "3D that looks 2D" trend popular at the time. It resulted in a lot of models with bad rigs and topology.
Learn, then break. It makes your life a LOT easier.
