It's maddening.

So many maddening things are in alignment right now that I feel very out of alignment.

How dare you sell us out like this? Why in the world you would help them frame things or make their clearly unconstitutional actions seem at all valid? You are a coward taking part in a fascist coup @peters.senate.gov. You're not helping me or anyone else in Michigan.

Finally introduced my eldest to the TVO classic, 'Read All About It'. He seemed to love it, so here's to classic 80's children's programming!

Terrible display by Drumpf and Askance today in the oval office. Wow. Shameful. What thugs! Basically "Thats a nice country you got there, it'd be a shame if something were to happen to it."

Just a reminder if you're looking for a good book to read, look up lists of banned books in various countries or states. There's probably some things in there that you should add to your knowledge base.

Support your local communities.
Remember that there was a time before this insanity and there will be a time after.

Visit Canada for vacation and some more time to think and act if needed.

I'm here if anyone needs to talk or for vacation destination advice.

Peace.

I feel like I've said "That's nuts." too many times and it's losing meaning. Instead I'm going to start using terms that or more specific.
Like:

1. That's evil.
2. That's wrong.
3. That's the opposite of freedom.
4. That's fascist.
5. That's something that's making me question my pacifist nature.

I have no words. I used to have so many. To any of my friends in the United States right now looking to take a vacation and want to see what Canada is like at the moment, come visit me. Reach out and come visit. It's probably been a long while, but time vanishes in the presence of presence.

If I had a dollar for every time in human history the sentiment was held that we were truly living in unprecedented times, I feel like I'd be very wealthy.

If the times also had to be truly unprecedented for me to earn that dollar, I'd be a pauper in comparison.

I enjoy deep sim games so much I gotta believe simulation theory has a good chance of being part of the fabric of things. Either already, or sooner than we think.

Ok, got my old posts ported into blue sky. Nice to not necessarily leave all the memories behind.

For those interested, it's Porto, a chrome extension. You download your Twitter archive then it can port many of the tweets from the data in. Use a generated app password from your bluesky.

Netflix, during a global time of financial tightening of belts, has decided to make itself the inconvenient streaming service. I may be wrong, but for a lot of people it will likely be cancellation. Am interested to see how it plays out.
