Kodansha will have a panel at New York Comic Con (NYCC) this upcoming Friday, October 10th, at 11:30am. They will be announcing some of their upcoming digital titles this Fall and other print manga titles for Fall 2026 (and beyond).

The Shaman King Flowers anime will begin it's TV premiere in Brazil on TV Cultura starting on Monday September 22nd. This will be part of the new production "Antimatéria: Energia Geek" which will also have an additional stream on YouTube to discuss the week's episode.

The Japanese voice actor for Luchist from the 2021 Shaman King anime has been announced as a guest at the Anime NYC convention (August 21-24, 2025).
Kirito Iwashita, who was an assistant producer on "Shine On! Bakumatsu Bad Boys" has been announced as a guest to Anime NYC on August 21-24, 2025. The original story anime series used character designs and concepts provided by Hiroyuki Takei.

As a cross-promotion with the recently released new pachinko Shaman King machine in Japan, a selection of 17 episodes from the 2021 Shaman King anime series are now streaming on YouTube. These episodes are not region-locked and are the original Japanese audio (no subtitles)
As part of the "Minpachi Slot Summit" the recently released Shaman King pachinko machine will be on display on August 9 in the Red booth #4. Fans who check out the machine will also receive a free Shaman King themed tenugui (hand towel).

Posted earlier this month (July 14th), the Japanese manga oneshot "Yō no Kami" (妖の髪 - "Demonic Hair") won the honorable mention for the 98th Jump New World Manga Award and was posted on the Jump+ website.

K Manga has announced on their app that they are keeping the "Fan Letters to Manga Creators" form open as a permanent feature. If you hadn't submitted your letter to Hiroyuki Takei (or other favorite author) you still can!

Wonder Festival returns with it's Summer 2025 venue on July 27th for fans to sell their custom-made figures and models. While this event may not have any Shaman King figures, there are still some models inspired by Hiroyuki Takei's other works!

The "Shaman King Flowers" anime is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video in the USA. The series is still available for streaming on Netflix.
The finalized volume covers for the Spanish release of Shaman King Flowers and Shaman King Zero (both 2-in-1 editions) by Ivrea have been announced. Both of these will release sometime later this month.
