Kodansha will have a panel at New York Comic Con (NYCC) this upcoming Friday, October 10th, at 11:30am. They will be announcing some of their upcoming digital titles this Fall and other print manga titles for Fall 2026 (and beyond).

As part of the "Minpachi Slot Summit" the recently released Shaman King pachinko machine will be on display on August 9 in the Red booth #4. Fans who check out the machine will also receive a free Shaman King themed tenugui (hand towel).

Posted earlier this month (July 14th), the Japanese manga oneshot "Yō no Kami" (妖の髪 - "Demonic Hair") won the honorable mention for the 98th Jump New World Manga Award and was posted on the Jump+ website.

Kodansha USA will be having an industry panel and new license announcements at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) on Thursday July 24 at 2pm PDT. Any new announcements are typically posted on their website around that time.

The finalized volume covers for the Spanish release of Shaman King Flowers and Shaman King Zero (both 2-in-1 editions) by Ivrea have been announced. Both of these will release sometime later this month.

Shaman King Flowers and Shaman King Zero manga series have both been licensed by Ivrea for release in Spain in July 2025.
Both Zero and Flowers will be two-in-one editions. This will match how Flowers was released in Mexico (different Spanish translation/lettering).
