A relationship grounded in debating ideas.

Every time I read The Social Contract I notice more of the sick burns which Rousseau aims at his fellow philosophers.

What do John Rawls and a bad first date have in common? In my introduction to political theory conference sessions, we’re going to find out!

Can anyone recommend a political science paper with a really strong introduction? I want to show my students an example.

Took a break from conference presentations to give a wedding speech.

Travelling for over a month as of today to visit family from BC to Newfoundland. Please send plane reading recommendations.

Made it to London!

Conference presentations:
1) Undergraduate: “I will read every word on this sheet of paper in a calm and steady way.”
2) Masters: “I will have bullet points in front of me to reference and help me stay on track.”
3) PhD: “What if I open with a joke?”

Only a sociopath would go to the sing-along version of the Wicked movie.

Heading to the BIAPT conference in January!
