Congratulations to CMNS alumna Nira Arora, who has been named an Adjunct Professor in our School!

Since graduating from our School in 1999, Arora has gone on to become an Executive Producer at Bell Media and Morning Show host of Holly and Nira at Virgin Radio.

Last week, our CMNS Peer Mentor program hosted Investigating Information, a free media literacy event. Attendees learned practical strategies for fact-checking online and gained further insight into the topic from our panel including professors Stuart Poyntz, Stephanie Dick and Ahmed Al-Rawi.

Congratulations to CMNS professor Fred Lesage, an award recipient of the SSHRC Knowledge Synthesis Grants Competition - Envisioning Governance Systems that Work. His project is on Creating Data Publics for Governance in collaboration with Professor Daniel Ashton (University of Southampton).
