Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.
I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

As always I will try to anwser without the evergreen "practice" advice. Consider it implied :D
When lining you can make thicker lines where there will be shadow, and fully black parts when it's the thickest if you feel like your lineart is boring compared to the sketch.
In traditional: you can start with forgiving crayon or hard pencil and them add layer of darker lines

Pose dolls are kinda fine for things like perspective, exploring new angles on a pose or nailing positioning in thumbs, etc.
But be cautious w/ drawing over them wholesale, because esp the CSP ones, look awkward + stiff af, and don't take into account muscle movements, squish or torso flexibility.
