the thing is im not even that pressed about medical inaccuracy in fiction, especially bc looking shit up is so much harder now with the internet going to shit. but i have very rarely read a book or fic where a doctor is talking where i have not immediately cringed. jargon is really hard to get right

when a book has so many massive structural issues and every element of execution is bad and your critique is "the plot is crammed in between sex scenes" your critique is worthless. The first sex scene in this book is in ch 32 of 55, and it has maybe 5 sex scenes total.

like if you're shitting on silver elite bc it's porn you're just wrong. This book spends a very small amount of its page count on explicit sex scenes, and those are completely standard romance novel sex scenes. Most of the page count is split between nothing happening and descriptions of cross's abs

the problem with silver elite and books of its ilk is that so much of the backlash is also bad faith and incorrect, forcing me to defend one of the worst books I've ever read

the problem with pkmn sv's story isn't that it's bad it's that none of it is about the protag. The protagonist of the main story is arven, the protag of the team star story is penny, and you are shoehorned in bc that's what's needed for the game to happen.

everything about this season of the show fully sucks but law roach annoys me especially. he truly gives some of the least useful critiques. we need fewer judges like him who judge solely on their personal taste and more actual designers who look at the actual garments
