Health supremacy is a form of fascism. Places outside Sweden that tried that model could not implement it in part or whole and faced spectacular death rates.

In order to implement the “Sweden Plan” (which is code for doing nothing much, and not what happened in Sweden) most places will need:

More body bags.
More crematoriums.
Lots of pre-filled “do not resuscitate” and “do not transfer to hospital” forms.
A population too distracted to care.

So the Libs are irrelevant? Great we knew that. But an OECD report released overnight put the focus on the actual govt and the Safeguard Mechanism which is quite the dud

OECD report shows LNP climate irrelevance, while Safeguard Mechanism among least effective emissions reduction schemes in world
The report demonstrates that Australia’s safeguard mechanism remains one of the least effective programs for reducing emissions, and relies the most on carbon credits.

PS, the SA Health Minister Nicola Spurrier said on TV they had done modelling.
They didn't say by whom but given modern Govt's propensity for contracting out, likely to be private.
I believe its reasonable to assume big biz here did the same.
Guess what was done in Australia. Modelling of infection spread so businesses could manage shortages, rather than for prevention.
During the height of the pandemic, Tyson used Palantir to predict Covid-19 infections among meatpacking workers down to a nearly exactly figure. But rather than using this data to increase worker protections, Tyson used it plan for labor shortages + plant closures

I don’t think the virus has become less transmissible… so I think cases are flying under the radar… in the case of certain places… the radar is not even turned on. 🧐
