Vibes and internal thoughts of a character. Timing and misunderstandings between characters. Characters who deal with the weight of regret and guilt. Describing how the shoulders ache, how characters hide themselves under careful masks and live double lives to shield their pasts.
Either helping Villanelle out, or looking after her in some capacity. She’s always been the one to look after and care for others, to be protective of and shoulder burdens. To allow her room to cry, to rest or to comfort and care for her means the world. And holding her hand!

When your boss yells at you for not taking a file because you were waiting to be assigned a file, then months later, you take a file to show initiative and she yells at you for taking a file without her assigning it to you. I can’t win.

When you’re struggling with fiction, pick a different font, something you wouldn’t normally use. Your brain will feel a little freer, and you won’t feel as perfectionistic. It reminds you of joy, to write for yourself.

Ville hasn’t gotten drunk before! Though I imagine she’d be a very giggly drunk, snort-laughing more than usual, repeating what someone said in a loud voice. I think she’d probably be a depressive drunk when no one’s around, crying into her glass and falling asleep in a chair.
