Everyone (rightly) talks a lot about the highs of FFXIV's dramatic voice work, but what are some of your favorite comedic line reads in the game?

to answer for myself, if #irie was involved then she would tap into her connection with terrato, or midgardsormr

the president likely would have wanted to cast her as a more seductive or coy type, but having so much power at a snap of your fingers has its own level of attracting and entrancing 🤭

Zefiris and G'raha sprawled together, drowsing in bed in the Baldesion Annexe: a portrait of prefect relaxation and contentment. Zef's normally braided hair is unbound, and pools around her in streams of blue and grey; she wears a simple, comfortable tank top from which one breast escapes, and plain sleep shorts. G'raha, curled about her side, is similarly stripped to his smalls; their legs tangled together, his tail curled about her knee, and his hand gently cupping her waist beneath the fabric of her rucked-up shirt. Golden sunlight streams through the window illuminating the room, and as Zef cradles G'raha's head in the crook of her neck with one hand, stroking his hair and the base of his ears, she reaches toward it in a taut stretch with the other, loosening her long limbs, revelling in sensation. Zef's glasses sit perched on the ornate headboard, and around them are scattered bound journals, papers and missives. Discarded as usual at the foot of the bed, Zef's gleaner outfit lies in a bundle - and Peach, their resident coeurl, sits contentedly making biscuits on the fabric. Beyond them on the nearby desk sit piles of books, and small potted succulents Zef has rescued from well-intentioned researchers in darkened offices in the Hamlet. There too is Zef's wayfarer's jewellery, a gift from Tataru and G'raha both, cut from the same crystal that crows his staff; and the fae bracelet presented to her by Feo Ul on the night when G'raha had the audacity to propose to their sapling without a ring, or any sort of token - a band of tiny flowers in red and gold and crystal blue. Tucked behind the desk, propped against the window with trailing vines from a plant at the window coiling about its edges, sits Alphinaud's portrait of Zef, which she sat for somewhat uncomfortably at his and G'raha's encouragement - a first wary step on a path toward self-acceptance. Not hung in pride of place on the wall - but not completely shut away out of sight in a closet either.

beyond writing for the mini bang, i would like to finish cloud cover (excerpt below) or, if it becomes longer than intended, post the first half.

Lenore stepped into the hall on elevated, sure footing and stopped short just over the threshold. She'd found Lucci leaning in this corridor more times than she could count. Every night they'd been here, at least, and a few mornings too. Always relaxed as a cat in a sunbeam, always trading his bored stare for basking smugly in her attention. It had almost stopped being unsettling, the way he'd murmur secrets and sins to her in the dim light while the rest of the castle dreamed in their beds. In weeks, he'd changed entirely. Not the leopard that lurked beneath his skin, but a version of the spy he'd been before, one Lenore had never met. She clung to the broken shard of him, refusing to wince when her palms closed around a ruined edge. On the night of the gala, though, he was entirely polished, not one sharp barb left to test herself against. Standing at full height, he clearly hadn't even considered reclining into one of his lazy leans when he'd chosen his stance to wait for her. He'd foregone his black suit, opting for an exceptionally tailored one sewn from white fabric that looked like it was worth the bounty of an emperor of the sea. Lucci's smile was noticeably slow, purposefully chosen — the one he used to charm, to lie, to appear as nonthreatening as a man who was more claw than silk ever could. He had only bestowed it upon her in occupied rooms, and here, the curve of his lips felt private but remained sharp.
