I think the main audience for the Steam Cube is gonna be people who have a large steam library but haven't upgraded their PC since like 2017. The actual PC market is a nightmare right now and something that is affordable and can handle upper middle tier games acceptably is an easy sell

While I understand people are skeptical of the Steam Machine as being too wonky to make a dent in PlayStation or Nintendo, I absolutely see a scenario in which it replaces Xbox, which does not seem to be difficult at this point.

Digimon Adventure 02 unfortunately isn’t as good as the first season, there are some really good episodes and Miyako is a really good character but also the stretch from episode 13 to 18 or so is kind of dry.

I was thinking why didn’t Nintendo apply something like BFI to their emulators for switch 2 and after experimenting with it on my lcd monitor with Retroarch the reason became very clear, that thing would leave serious burn in in a matter of days.

I’ve been saying this before! You should be curious and try things outside your comfort zone, that doesn’t mean you have to submit yourself to bad media as homework to build better takes for social media.
more than "you should play bad games because a maligned game might be good" i would prefer if the positive contrarian dogma was "you should play games that genuinely interest you regardless of what other people think" because holy shit the former leads to a lot of turning your misery into Content
