I know a lot of these things can’t be helped but regarding the last part: please use a password manager and email aliases to make things a tiny bit better for yourself. Not reusing passwords keeps your accounts safer, and if you use a different alias everywhere, you can prevent email spam, at least…

I've been making a genuine effort to use the term "fanworks" instead of "content"
I feel like it's important, with the rise of fandom fracturing into a "consumer demands" type of vibe instead of the old hobby enjoying and friendship vibe I am more used to
