It amazes me how the "anti-ism" crowd, who would lose their minds over racist, sexist, homophobic, & anti-trans language, have no issues spouting/suppoting vitriolic, ageist bs.

And when called on it, DEFEND that language.

The hypocrisy is stunning. #FuckAgeism.

Another brilliant, water saving machination in Spain (I assume all over Europe).

Pee? Small circle, uses less water.

Poop? Big circle, uses more water.

We did have some semblance of water saving/efficiency reqs - Trump and his cronies systematically dismantled them.

No step on snek!

No,physical books are not obsolete.

Another interesting observation about Spain as I travel by bus from Málaga to Seville - a complete lack of trash strewn on the sides of the highway.

Why do fucking Americans think it is perfectly ok to throw their trash outside their car windows?

Why dont cops ever issue littering tickets?

Absolutely fascinating (and concerning) article about consciousness.

I roasted urushi seeds and made urushi tea. The roasting aroma is amazing😍—sweet and totally unlike coffee.
I think I’m the only one making this in Japan, so it’s still under the radar.
Of course, it’s caffeine-free—and I’ve also seen reports suggesting it may help lower blood pressure.

One thing that is astonishingly great to see in Spain? Most kids dont seem to have have their faces buried in phones and tablets.

Especially not at the dining table.

The Street of Forgotten Men (1925), Louise Brooks' debut film, features this handsome young man in a major role. On the new Blu-ray commentary, Pamela Hutchinson hints that he might look familiar and "he's beloved by generations of children".

A gift that truly lasts: we recreated a grandchild’s drawing of their grandparents on the surface of a bowl, faithfully rendered using traditional urushi-e techniques.
They loved it. It’s the kind of piece that becomes a lifelong memory—and because it’s used every day, the attachment only grows😀

But imo tagging historic buildings and homes makes you an asshole.

Personally I think you should lose a finger every time you are caught.

Seems people are more interested in photos of art in art museums, than the art itself.

And no, Im not going to view a painting from the side so you can get a perfect front on pic.

You can go fuck yourself if you expect people AT THE ART MUSUEM TO SEE ART to accommodate your social media pics.
