Horrific figure. Almost 18,000 children killed in Gaza according to latest OCHA update. 31% of verified violence deaths are children. Does not include indirect death toll due to malnutrition, destruction of medical infrastructure - 5,800+ children were diagnosed with malnutrition in June alone.
An average of 28 children have been killed each day since the start of the war in #Gaza – the equivalent of an entire classroom, every day for 21 months. Quoting UNICEF.

"Fifteen Palestinian paramedics and rescue workers, including at least one United Nations employee, were killed by Israeli forces “one by one” and buried in a mass grave"
🔴 #Gaza: Rescue teams found the bodies of 8 emergency responders from Palestine Red Crescent, 6 from Civil Defense and 1 from the UN.

Their ambulances were hit by Israeli forces. "They were here to save lives. Instead, they ended up in a mass grave."

These abhorrent acts require accountability.
