I mean this is so far pretty close to a 10 out of 10 night for Democrats. Winning everywhere! Statewide in PA and GA, huge margin in VA gov race. Sherrill tracking double digits as well! Mamdani above 50% in a the highest turnout in NYC since 1969. Big pick ups in VA House of Delegates.

The overarching theme of Trump 2.0 is that reality doesn't exists, that the material world is simply fodder for Posts, and that if something gets attention and retweets the people trying to stop you are irrelevant scolds. And they're going to extend that principle to actual war on a foreign nation

And that's the way to understand all these people - Hegseth, Miller, Noem - they're not smart or serious people, they're influencers who see this as a step toward fame. It's like how nobody's on the Bachelor franchise to win, they're on it to reap the clout benefits and become more famous.

I never understood the argument Trump craves credibility and acceptance by the well healed. None of his actions in both politics or business indicate that - at all.
Misrepresenting testimony and evidence to a grand jury to secure an indictment is a lot easier to do in that setting since there is no defense lawyer present to challenge it, but it is a pretty perilous road for Lindsey Halligan to go down right after her predecessor resigned.

A continuing reminder that your sanity will be well served if you realize that Miller, Trump, Bondi, etc. saying something is not a sufficient condition to bring that thing into being.
