People have been way too confident way too early on Talarico being better than Crockett though. This is the first solid/pretty objective piece of evidence in his favor for electability

It’s slightly wider than it looks because of the rounding. Going To the tenths, Crockett is down 5.7 to Cornyn while Talarico is down 2.8. 3 point difference is enough to make me lean Talarico pending him becoming more well known. No meaningful gap in performance against Paxton here though

I dont understand why they program it to respond this way. They can choose to have it give a different apology that clearly communicates that it can’t lie or not lie and this was a technical error in output

My understanding is it's be an affirmative defense, so you’d have to prove you were validly pardoned but if you could then it would be effective

And with the innovation of cooling, nowadays there are a bunch of babies that would have been profoundly brain damaged after birth in hospitals that are almost completely fine. It's amazing. And your baby won't get there as fast after a difficult home birth

Even in low risk pregnancies, we don’t get to know in advance which ones will have that risk manifest. I do birth injury law and see the worst results from hospitals, but it almost always starts with a condition that’s only treatable because they’re in a hospital. At home it’s a foregone conclusion

I think it would have been good for him to stay in a little to see how polling develops, but with the filing deadline and clearly feeling like he couldn’t win the primary he made his decision

I just fundamentally don't understand how you can have the ego necessary to be the democratic governor of colorado but also think you need to have the input of these specific two (I assume both are bad I also don't know captgouda24) for your outlook

And I could have studied more to know the material better to not need the time to think through things/review cases, but I didn’t so I was using the time. It'll be a different level for everyone where they know enough to think things through vs extra time being unhelpful

I think it depends a ton on the level/course. I had higher level calc/stat classes in undergrad where more time to think through problems would legitimately help if I didn’t remember things as sharply and open book law school where more time to read cases would help
