There's been a lot of crowing that the House has "done its job" by passing a bill, but the job is actually making law, not passing one-chamber bills. The word Congress means "come together" in Latin. Congress is failing to Congress.

Seems bad. I’d feel bad if I voted for this or was a member of the party that (all but one since excommunicated member) unanimously voted for this in Congress.

Can’t believe I have to say this but *countries* don’t import beef. Individuals and businesses do. In a free country, there is no way to mandate the quadrupling of a particular foodstuff import.
lol, great, so we're now subsidizing Argentine ranchers at the expense of American ranchers. Seems politically sustainable, no questions from me.

This is what the OBBB is doing right now to tens of thousands of Mainers all over the state, and it’s only going to get to get worse.
