First half of the Vikings game made me elated. Second half nearly put me in my grave. Big emotional swing, but ending with a win makes it worth it. I think.

Homicide: Life on the Street isn’t streaming anywhere, which is a travesty. It raised the bar for television, bringing cinema-quality writing, acting, and directing to the small screen.

At the heart of the show was breakout star Andre Braugher, truly a force of nature. RIP to a phenomenal actor.

Apart from his specific roles, I most admired Paul Ruebens for his dedication to his craft. Few actors or comedians so deeply inhabited their characters. He was so good at it that a lot of people took that rare skill for granted. RIP to a truly singular presence.
