Story idea:

we are x years in the future and there’s an ageing generation of those who still know the old art of “thinking” independently of computers

In a race against the machines (😉), a few remaining humans try to rescue those skills against the rise of LLM, human mortality & dementia

I keep telling people it’s completely pure luck where they were born.
This brilliant. I've experimented with making similar simulators before, but this from Giving What We Can is so well executed and needed right now... some perspective, and just how lucky we (some of us) are. #charity #wealth #redistribution #fairness #equity #equality

As a millennial & someone who did medicine after science, I am bemused of discussions on here of retiring aged 55

There are many of us where this is unrealistic we our lives are filled with debt, not getting on housing ladder early and pension changes

drove down a small road which used to be a good road bike route on weekends.

its so full of potholes / poor repairs that i would not dare to use a road bike on it anymore.

can we start thinking about the impact all those big cars have on roads and charge them appropriately?
