Making decent progress fighting off AI crawlers today. A delicate dance of distributed IPs, navigating client accounts & permissions across multiple WAFs. Looks like some useful resources to try hooking up later too, and a few weeks overhauling dev practice and testing structures.

Loving it though.

And that's why all of these issues are interconnected.

There's no environmental justice without social, racial & economic justice.

The struggle is between the super rich & those clinging to power and the rest of our society.

Solidarity with those oppressed. Today & always.

Whilst the population - egged on by the media - are divided and attacking migrants, trans people and/or the disabled - we're not talking about the real threat.

Inequality.

And you can imagine why the super rich don't want us talking about that.

It's the same powers destroying our communities, our democracy & our environment.

We must protect trans people from the vile attacks through love & solidarity.

It doesn't always show up as coming from the billionaire class but it's one of the few things that has trickled down.

Day 2 of #fixfest about to kick off. Already had a great evening social talking about preservation, archives, memories, learning, communities, access and power. Everything is connected.

Hi bsky. Looks like I'll be around London Victoria for a couple of hours at Friday lunchtime - any recommends for great, free exhibitions to check out?

(Alternatively, also available for chats and coffee ☕😀)

A recent apache update broke a bunch of nginx-based sites this morning. If you're getting a 421 error, you'll need to add some proxy_ssl config to nginx's setup quickly.

Nice tech shakedown of yet another #Meta tracking technique. Already got uBlock and FB Disconnect extensions, but time to uninstall Insta from the phone finally.

“Localhost tracking” explained. It could cost Meta 32 billion.

Today's #recordstoreday pickups (except Forbidden Planet). But best bit was getting pushed to go by #son1 for the first time, and experiencing that early morning #rsd queue rush.

This weekend is the first official running event in my stem cell outfit.

I’m running Exmouth pie and pasty challenge, as many 5.3km laps in 7hrs and you get a pie at the end.
I’m going to aim for a marathon distance (8 laps) in this - for Anthony Nolan charity: www.justgiving.com/page/cato-fo...

To be clear: The colonialist empire model never went away, and likely never will. It just goes through cycles of being more covert or overt.

The Cold War "business" models of capitalism vs communism was merely two sides of the same coin, evolving ever further.
