Brave New World is Marvel returning to form. Not the strongest film they've ever made, but it leans into the work of world-building and the character's arc as opposed to pure spectacle.

Lots of spectacle, of course. But the story stands up as good, solid, pulpy, adventure.

I have a theory:

Trump believes being president is like being the host of "Whose line is it anyway?"

He thinks his job is to challenge the world with increasingly insane prompts like "Ukraine started the war with Russia!"

And our job is to go along with it no matter how stupid it is.

If we're all in a simulation, I'd appreciate it if someone could adjust the difficulty slider a skosh to the left.

This Neil Gaiman thing is rough.

If it's all true, then he is a deeply broken human who has caused great harm without remorse and should not be permitted to roam. If 50% is true, he's merely a dangerous predator.

On hold for next 22 mins. Upon pulling into parking lot:

"Yeah, you're 13 minutes late so you have to reschedule. You should have called ahead."

For the best, really. My BP would not have been good.

I think American politics is in its "punk rock" phase:
