Exploring the origins of the Sharkfolk and Roberto's past. Between ancestors, supernatural events, and mysterious human figures, the sea still hides secrets from its own guardian sharks. 🌊🦈✨

There is an ornament symbolizing a mysterious moonlit event of supernatural origin on a global scale. Moon phase symbols mark passage of time, and waves shift from rough to calm. The illustration begins with a storm and great wave engulf an unknown city, suggesting the end of the Anthropocene. The first image shows a wild hammerhead shark swimming freely in the open sea, illuminated by sunlight. In the second, the shark already has developed arms and pelvic fins that are beginning to adapt to form legs. It devours a fish caught with its bare hands. "Flock Impostor" for the Lorwyn Eclipsed set!

People keep telling me they're "not good enough to submit" - I say, we don't gatekeep skill levels.

Sure, I use the books to scout for artists to hire/forward projects to, but our goal is to *encourage people to celebrate nature*.

This is why I insist on having kid & amateur artists each season.
