Yesterday's vote (or lack thereof) just about sealed it. I used to host Eurovision parties every year, and Liverpool was fabulous in 2023, but Israel have ruined the contest for all of us. I'll still watch Sanremo but that's it. I won't watch it any longer.

Diogo Jota was a superb player. Technical, clever, versatile, scored goals, created goals - Not much else you could ask of an attacker. His last acts as a footballer were lifting trophies with his club and his country. The kind of thing that usually only happens in fantasies. He made them real. RIP.
