What a treat it is having Ian Bishop in NZ commentating cricket. A true gentleman, with tremendous insight and knowledge and an infectious love for this great game. #nzcricket

After spotting a duck with only one duckling on the side of the motorway, Tykira knew that there must be more ducklings somewhere. She followed the tweeting sounds and found them in a drain!

The lack of business confidence in the economy is present in the business investment data. Business investment fell this year. Non-residential building investment fell 2.9%. Transport equipment fell 6%. Households are feeling it - purchase of durable goods lower in December 2023.

The irony of this. Luxon, in his interview with Tame, banging on about relearning the lessons on the 90s. This cartoon highlights they have learnt exactly nothing.
Flashback cartoon: Ruth Richardson, Minister of Finance, National Party, 1990 to 1993. Dismissed as Finance Minister following the 1993 election. Later joined the Act Party. #cartoon #Listenermag #nzpol

I am surprised more has been made of the impotence of Luxon. Both Costello and McKee would both have been sacked under any other Government. Luxon is so scared of Peters and Seymour he does nothing and happy to let corruption run wild so he can be 'Prime minister' , in name anyway.

This UK election result just highlights how fucking stupid FPP is. Labour are going to have 65% of the mps while getting only 35% of the vote. While I am loving the Tories getting shafted. The landslide narrative is true in result only. Labour share of the national vote up a pathetic 2%.
