This might be overstating things just a wee bit. I'm pretty sure they did not in fact *recreate* the birth of the universe in the lab, fiery or not. I'd maybe fiery whoever wrote that headline; the Pope would not approve.

This is like claiming the guy behind the curtain is a real wizard, when we can see the levers being pulled. There is no such thing as general intelligence. Intelligence is a name for a biological system's response to its lived and experienced environment. It is meaningless outside that context.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
