I may have shared this in the past, but I had reason to look it up, so here it is again. If you've heard that quantum computers are only good at factoring numbers, this paper's for you. Because in fact they're crap at that too. eprint.iacr.org/2025/1237.pdf

Two things about this picture:

1. Trump's face. He seems to be trying *really* hard to scowl and look mean, like Obama did, to Putin. (All roads lead to Obama, or Russia)

2. Putin's hand completely engulfs li'l don's digits, as paper beats rock. (Perhaps that's why li'l don looks miffed)

Suspended before I got a chance to post this, so for completeness .... a bot pretending to be a weirdo.

This was yesterday at Mt Tabor dog park. Those colors caught my eye and the photo captures them well. Magical light at Mt Tabor is one of the many reasons I love the place so much. And that's Crumbles.

Choices in life. Some reflection is good.

This might be overstating things just a wee bit. I'm pretty sure they did not in fact *recreate* the birth of the universe in the lab, fiery or not. I'd maybe fiery whoever wrote that headline; the Pope would not approve.

Beautiful #PDX morning!

What a great result! A clear majority in a 3-way race.

In a few hours we'll know when the Sun comes up on the East coast, whether the red sky of Communism sinks down over the city, or if that was all alarmist bull-shittery. 🙄

This is one crazy transcript. I'm forcing myself to read it but have only got half way through. Needed to come up for air, my God. This exchange about the shutdown is insane.
