Special Olympics Michigan is doing incredible work to empower athletes and promote inclusion across our communities. I’m grateful for the chance to connect, and I will keep working to get individuals with disabilities the support and opportunities they deserve – in West Michigan and beyond.

Nurse practitioners play a critical role in expanding access to care across West Michigan. It was great to connect with a local nurse practitioner to discuss ways we can reduce barriers, strengthen the health care workforce, and get patients the care they need.

I stood with my colleagues in the Democratic Women’s Caucus today to defend Americans’ fundamental right to vote. The SAVE America Act would create unnecessary barriers for eligible voters, especially women. I will always fight to protect our democracy and make every citizen’s voice heard.
