Once Christians tie their faith to partisan politics they eventually have to defend the indefensible.

Pledge all your allegiance to Jesus Christ and let the politicians fend for themselves.

Jesus: "My kingdom does not belong to this world. If my kingdom belonged to this world, my followers would be fighting to keep me from being handed over" (John 18:36).

The kingdoms of this world are founded on violence—political violence, state violence, economic violence.

God's kingdom is not.

Spent the day at Bobs Big Timber Backyard Ultra. A fantastic race with great people.. Now it’s time to get my ankle surgery taken care of and recover for next year so I can get back to running farther ☺️

There is no Christian theology or eschatology that can justify man-made starvation.

Even if people are viewed as enemies, the Scriptures still tell us what to do:

“If your enemies are hungry, feed them.”

The baptized have pledged their allegiance to Jesus Christ, not the Pentagon or the IDF.

Fun weekend full of running miles. Saturday 10 miles in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and a Sunday half on the dreadmill.

What I can’t understand, is the amount of people I know who would/do brush these stories off as just an unfortunate side effect of doing the right thing. Or they think it’s just the media hating on Trump.
