Xfinity has a monthly data cap, but data use on the public `xfinity-wifi` hotspots your neighbors unknowingly run on their xFi modems doesn't count toward it.

Do with that what you will..

I think there's a new concern in software development. Vibe-coding makes feature development so fast that even if you manage to guess which features you're going to need (you won't) you overwhelm the user with an avalanche of buttons without the slow drip of new features to learn one at a time.

I've seen far worse moments in Bitcoin's history.

The collapse of Mt.Gox and FTX, Bcash civil war, China FUD, mining deal spiral FUD, other crypto assets attacking Bitcoin's narrative, etc.
But I still believe. I still believe that Bitcoin is the solution to trust in the financial system.

These Finnish homes are being heated by a surprising source: Bitcoin
Read the full story at Grist. Mining bitcoin throws off an enormous amount of heat. That’s because the “mining” in question refers to the energy-intensive computational process by which bitcoin transactions are verified. In a typical transaction, a boxy computer attempts to solve what’s essentially a very complex math problem. If it can do this before any of the other “miners” working on the problem across the world, the miner is rewarded with bitcoin of its own.

‘Sell Gold, Buy Bitcoin’: Cathie Wood Makes The Rotation Call
Cathie Wood, CEO of ARK Invest, advocates shifting investments from gold to Bitcoin, citing Bitcoin's favorable supply dynamics and long-term adoption potential. She believes that gold's current position, measured against money supply, is unsustainable, resembling historical peaks associated with economic crises. Wood argues that Bitcoin and gold have a negligible correlation, debunking the idea that Bitcoin has lost its appeal as gold has recently outperformed. She anticipates a "great acceleration" driven by AI, which will boost investments in robotics, energy storage, blockchain, and life sciences. While acknowledging the rise of stablecoins, Wood sees them as payment solutions, while Bitcoin remains the preferred choice for savings. She references ARK's long-term Bitcoin price target of $1.5 million by 2030, based on intergenerational wealth transfer and Bitcoin's limited supply growth. Wood suggests that a prior "flash crash" caused by a software glitch at Binance, leading to significant margin calls, has been washing through the system. She views Bitcoin as the most liquid crypto asset, therefore the first to be sold during broad deleveraging events. Wood anticipates Bitcoin establishing a trading range of $80,000 to $90,000 barring unforeseen geopolitical events. She believes that Bitcoin's value as a store of value could increase during significant geopolitical events, such as those related to Iran.
