The amount of time you just have to deal with 'stuff' in software is insane. Today's example. TinyMCE changed their licensing from MIT to GPL making it nearly worthless.

I'm fine buying a commercial license but now they charge in "editor loads" 🤣 which is nuts.

Maybe Flux will save us 🤞

Short and sweet advice: if you want your organization to be in a place where you DON'T experience a scramble to lie about sunk costs, decide BEFORE YOU ADOPT AI on some pre- and post- measures and test the impact of these tools. You can even do this if you're just one team.
Another (shorter) article:

"We’re in the tricky phase of AI adoption, where big tech companies have spent millions...and need to try and come up with reasons to justify that extensive, expensive investment"

The ‘AI-in-everything’ era is here, and it's giving us a lot of stuff we don't need
Generative AI is everywhere these days, from bank chatbots to fast food screens. But are people actually finding the tech very useful?
