The Long Walk is a simple, well-executed story. It oozes Stephen King’s trademark pop-horror tropes: normal people pitted against long odds, with grotesque consequences. Brutal, gritty, and showcasing some stellar performances by David Jonsson and Cooper Hoffman. #HorrorSky #StephenKing #Walking
The Long Walk (2025): Review
The Long Walk takes follows a group of young men competing in a marathon walk that ends with one winner and 49 corpses. A Stephen King Story.

This is 100% a fun popcorn thriller. If you are looking for a night of cat-and-mouse theater, this is an excellent pick. For fans of shark horror, this one's a cut above. It doesn’t rise to the raw terror of Open Water or the pinnacle of Jaws, but it should put a smile on your face. #HorrorSky
Dangerous Animals (2025): Review
Dangerous Animals puts a new twist on the serial killer trope, with a psychopath who films captive humans as shark bait for kicks.

The revisioning of the Predator franchise is in full swing and continues to impress. A rite of passage movie that oozes with warrior ethos. It's a fantastic creature feature harkening back to the days of Ray Harryhausen! #CreatureFeature #HorrorSky #Yautja
Predator: Badlands (2025): Review
Predator: Badlands flips the Predator formula by following a young Yautja warrior on a redemptive epic quest of honor, with the help of a chatty half-android.

If you’re okay with the slower pacing of older horror movies, and don’t mind being a little lost at times, Messiah of Evil is completely worth the watch. And maybe you can finally figure out who the “Messiah of Evil” is once and for all. #MessiahOfEvil #HorrorSky #HorrorFamily
Deep Cuts from the Horror Archive: Messiah of Evil (1973) Review
Messiah of Evil offers a deliciously confusing early 70s cross between art film and horror, setting the stage for horror tropes to come.

If you're a fan of the Corman era Poe interpretations from the '60s, you'll be right at home here. This is not a period tale so it isn’t a costume drama, but it does strike the same tones. Read the short story. It will inform you of the background, without actually spoiling anything. #HPLFF2025

Once again loaded with first-rate jump scares and fantastic period piece production design. The ghost story this time out is a muddled mess, though, and some of the secondary characters feel forced. #Conjuring #HorrorSky
The Conjuring: Last Rites (2025) Review
The Conjuring: Last Rites is a solid closeout of the franchise for Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. (Probably) Great jump scares are offset by a confusing ghost backstory.
