No PM has a personal mandate to lead the UK. Your party has the mandate and they can decide to switch up the keader at any point, just ask Theresa May or Boris Johnson

House of Lords reform....
I know, it's a snooze fest for some, but listen. If the next election really does provide a chaotic mix up, then lords reform really does become an issue. What does a body that reflects previous power dynamics ( e.g lots of Tory peers ) do when the commons is so different?

Didn't realise I'd live long enough to see a former PM present himself as a candidate for a colonial governor. But these are unprecedented times. If you are willing to invade a region I guess installing yourself as a governor there isn't that much of a stretch...
