sometimes i feel very lonely and sad not really being super connected to any one community a.k.a. being very distant from basically anyone i know
and then other times i'm glad i don't super tie myself to specific communities because i kinda just. do my own thing 90% of the time

reading this piece, with the horrible realization creeping up on me that - even as someone in the same field, starting to work in game translation - i'm naive and don't know anywhere near enough about these things to play defense against them, let alone offense
