There are only two things to aim for in life:
1) be happy;
2) be not a burden on others.
Balancing these two things is life's essential challenge.
If you spill something, just clean it up. Life's not about avoiding mistakes. It's about taking responsibility for the mistakes you make, by doing the work to make up for them. Follow up on that "sorry", with action.

I get tired of hearing reports and complaints about MAGA's outrages with no suggestions for how to answer the problems. OK, so the fascists did fascist things. What are we to do about it? A few of my suggestions are in the linked posts following.

Easy-peasy: let's all choose the "wrong" gender (by which I mean whatever is most likely to annoy the regime). Next time I travel, I'll try to remember to ask to be "F".
Airlines told to disregard gender-neutral ‘X’ on U.S. passports
The new rule amounts to a data-collection change and does not affect passengers’ ability to fly.

Trump v Casa "(F)ootnote No 5... takes her dissent to another level entirely.

"In it, she cites The Dual State by Ernst Fraenkel, a German Jewish labor lawyer who fled the Nazis in 1938."
Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is trying to warn us about something. Are we listening?

I don't believe they do fear us. Why would they, any more than most people fear wildlife?
