Just saw who was selected for something I lost a few months ago, and it just re-affirms my belief that some of these groups don't actually give a fuck about your story, they just want to be entertained, exploit you, and then pat themselves on the back for "lifting you up".

Had a really good weekend/beginning of the week, followed by some really disappointing news of yet another opportunity lost. I'm grateful for all of the opportunities I've had so far, but it stings a little more when you REALLY want something and get SO close to it but it slips through your fingers.
