Yesterday my daughter was elected president of the National Honor Society at her school. It has given me such a feeling of joy to refer to her as Madame President today!

The guy who gave introduced us to kale (the stuff they used to use to decorate salad bars at Wendy’s) has been nominated to be in charge of Medicare and Medicaid.

A couple of years ago I observed bees feasting on the carcass of a dead rabbit. Carnivorous bees! A sure sign of the apocalypse! (My brother-in-law refers to them as meat bees!) Today I learned that there are carnivorous butterflies!!!
Fortunately they only eat aphids. For now.
