Finally, a New Blog!
This week, I talk about why I've been away for a month, and a struggle many of us surely deal with.
Change the Way You Think
I was growing tired of social media. Work was wearing on me too much. Financial stress, worrying about how things will get paid, or hoping that using one thing to pay something else will be covered before the end of the month. Plus, the future. Writing. Life. Happiness.

Why does this sound better when said with a British accent?
Can you imagine someone from the American south saying this?
Weird.

New blog!
This week, I discuss my recent decline in social media activity, over-thinking the creative process, and creative isolation.
The Path of Least Compromise
I have also been reflecting on my past, especially my creative past. One of the big things that was missing from those days, when I was working on screenplays and quite productive; social media.

Short answer: Yes
The majority of us are lazy and impatient.
Why think for ourselves when AI can do it for us?

Are we living in a golden age of stupidity?
From brain-rotting videos to AI creep, every technological advance seems to make it harder to work, remember, think and function independently …

New blog!
Are you Bored? Probably not as much as you used to be. But we need Boredom, more than ever!
Remember Boredom?
we use distractions (smartphones, social medias) to not think about our own things. But what is worse? While in our boredom, thinking about things that affect our lives, or being fed a constant stream of doom and gloom from everywhere around the world like funneling sugar to a toddler?

New blog!
This week, I talk about motivation and making the choice, even if it is from bad habits to good habits.
Choose Motivation
I know I have many things in place to help me be creative and get writing. I have projects to work on, I have three places to set myself down and work, and I know what needs to be done and how to work on them. Yet… I am struggling.

New Blog!
This week, I welcome September with renewed hope, a fresh start, and the on-going battle against bad habits and poor choices.
Hello September
Choosing what is best for us isn’t always easy. Even after you’ve chosen, doing it can be the hardest part, especially when doing it alone, without foolishly comparing yourself to others. You won’t be able to do it like them, you can only do it like you.

New Blog!
This week, I talk about my creative direction, and why it is important to follow my strengths without fear.
Everything I Dream is a Movie
There always seems to be an elitism, a feeling of being superior, when writing a book, compared to writing a screenplay. Oh yeah, I know it sounds lame, especially knowing the hardship authors actually face. Perhaps it’s a societal thing. Novels have a rich history and depth. Screenplays are just blueprints for a movie.

New blog!
This week, I'm updating an older blog because it still resonates with me, 10 years later.
The Battle for Our Creative Hearts
After the interview, she asked me about my writing, and I went into more detail. When I finished, she was intrigued about what I had done. She also told me how I had responded to the same subject during our interview. How I had made it sound unimportant, and that it wasn't a big accomplishment, when the truth was, it WAS a big accomplishment!

Finally, a New Blog!
This week, just some random thoughts I had about OnlyFans selling themselves on IG, Snyderbros, and the beauty of boredom.
Apologies in advance.
What Am I Thinking?
The Mayo Clinic says boredom can increase creativity and innovation, develop independence and self-reliance, and give us opportunities for self-reflection. But who’s bored these days, when we have our little plastic gods in our hands!

New Blog!
This week, I talk about reading my screenplays, Pedro's Coffee, and dealing with the humour that isn't funny any more.
Making with the Ha-Ha
I’m the firm believer that there is always humour in life, even in our darker, sadder moments. Not necessarily bust-a-gut laughing humour, but subtle, quiet humour that, for a moment, takes you out of the darkness, and reminds you life still goes on, for better or worse.

More organizing and creating back story for some antagonists.
The annoying part is finding different files with similar histories that I have to combine and re-write.
I found one reference I had no idea who it belonged to. Tracking that down was tiring.
July 2, 2025 at 8:12 PM
A slow, but good day.
I realized I didn't have a detailed file on an antagonist, so I used various sources to create one.
Sometimes, I forget that the files in my head aren't on my computer.

Finally, a new blog!
This one talks about my regular job/ life experience, and how it has helped with my writing and creating.
The Regular Job Life
Regular jobs... instilled into me a strong work ethic that has carried over through the various jobs I’ve had. So with this blog, I thought I’d talk about my non-writing work, and how it has shaped my creative output.

The subject of Zack Snyder, and his work in the DCEU, has come up, so I thought I'd share my thoughts from a blog a few years ago.
But I also updated and added some thoughts as well.

The Never-Ending Snyder League: Revisited
I’m not here to talk about (Man of Steel or BvS), I’m here to rant about Zack Snyder’s Justice League. This isn’t a review, this is my thought on how this supposed DC Extend…

Made some good progress on my antagonists.
But the hardest thing is keeping their histories, and when they intersect, intact and accurate.
Still fun though.

Time for my weekly drop-in to Bluesky to see what new... exciting... honestly, just keeping my profile active.

Back into the Infinatum.
Today: Set in late Victorian Era London, a team of unusual individuals solve mysteries outside Scotland Yard's purview.
It's X-Files, Penny Dreadful & steampunk.
I do enjoy generating ideas & characters inspired by turn-of-the-20th century sci-fi, pulp heroes, & history.
June 7, 2025 at 7:55 PM
Dove back into the Infinatum, finishing up work on an idea that I updated a few weeks back.
Although not "finished", it is finished enough to leave it be and move onto other things.
The pic is an old one from my Writing Lair, but I always have observers, & pop culture-y things, watching me work.

New blog!
This week, a morning commute refreshes my writer's journey, reminding me where I should focus my skills and why.
Sark Goes Back to the Movies
I was a young, mid-20s fella, still fresh out of college, envisioning myself writing screenplays, becoming successful… I was so young, green and arrogant.

New Blog!
I love creating new stories, ideas, and characters. Not because of the idea I came up with, but the idea I didn't see coming.
Ideas Beget Ideas
That is what I love about creating ideas, fleshing them out, and developing stories. You can have a plan about where something will go, but you suddenly see something unexpected.
