We’re getting #snow here in #Raleigh. This is the WRAL fountain, frozen but still working. And then there’s the tower with lighting denoting the type of weather. This is the first time they’ve used white for snow since the lights were installed. Been over 1,000 since the last measurable snow here.

Our newsroom system crashed 20 minutes before the 4:00pm newscast yesterday. Everything except the A block was printed, but I had to direct from the rundown for the fist block.
Got a lot of praise for directing a clean show under less than ideal circumstances.
