CPJP made a submission supporting, in full, the recommendations made by the Australian Wrongful and Arbitrary Detention Alliance, reflecting lived experience. We were thrilled the report adopted these and urge the Australian Government to commit to fully and promptly implementing all 18 recs.
The Australian Wrongful and Arbitrary Detention Alliance has joined with other submitters to the Senate Enquiry into the wrongful detention of Australians to issue a Joint Statement calling on the govt to commit to implementing the Enquiry's recommendations in full.
