We want the media and politicians to recognise that there is a large number of women who are supportive of the trans+ community. We call on them to report truthfully about the sources of violence against women and to address the systems that perpetuate harm. notinourname.org.uk/petition/not...

Today, it was swim-up blackberry picking at the river. A whole new experience for me. :D

Went fast. Chain fell off. Oil -everywhere-. Still fun in the sun, though. :D

Surrounded by 'New Year, New You' ideas, I just want to say that I still think waiting until 1st Feb makes much more sense!
Jan is cold & dark, there's still Christmas food to be eaten, no-one has any money, & spring is miles off! Hunker down this month, & if you want a new start, do it in a month.

It's a rule that I never park my bike to take photos but I broke it today, because _look_! It's beautiful out here, & it's warm & dry. I had a brilliant hour of calm.

It's officially Christmas-time! The cake is in the oven, and I am delighted that the family all showed up to keep the tradition going for another year (it's at least 26 years now!).
