Today, it was swim-up blackberry picking at the river. A whole new experience for me. :D

Went fast. Chain fell off. Oil -everywhere-. Still fun in the sun, though. :D

It's a rule that I never park my bike to take photos but I broke it today, because _look_! It's beautiful out here, & it's warm & dry. I had a brilliant hour of calm.

It's officially Christmas-time! The cake is in the oven, and I am delighted that the family all showed up to keep the tradition going for another year (it's at least 26 years now!).
