All archival prints in my shop--including these two that show parts of the Alaskan Arctic threatened by the proposed Ambler Road--are 25 percent off through November 24. If there's something you've had your eye on, now's the time. www.etsy.com/shop/HiddenD...
These prints--of my recent mural project of mountain bluebirds in the Okanogan Highlands--came out more beautifully than I could have hoped! Every bit as vivid and immersive as the original. And they're on sale! You can find them here www.etsy.com/shop/HiddenD...

So far, the administration's Alaska agenda is still a lot of bluster and not a lot of action. Great reporting from @loisparshley.bsky.social for @grist.org
Trump officials say Alaska is 'open for business.' So far, no one's buying.
The administration wants to drill in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Oil companies don’t, leaving Alaska to spend millions propping up the idea.

Holy wow, y'all! I just finished and installed my very first mural! You can find these mountain bluebirds, against a backdrop of the Okanogan Highlands, on the main drag in Tonasket, WA, on the side of the Ziply fiber building!

It's super gratifying seeing something in solid form after creating it digitally, for free, out of love. Thanks to the reader who felt these words and pictures in her own heart, and ordered two large custom prints.

Excited to finally finally have two works by @sarahmgilman.bsky.social framed and up on my wall! I saw them in @highcountrynews.org, where they accompanied a piece Sarah wrote called Pioneer of Ruin back in 2018. Here is "Eileen in the Desert."
